…about the big issues facing New Zealand and what we can do about them. It means that we don’t have to go through the media and we wont be edited, spun, interpreted, referred, dumbed down, deleted or ignored! The rules are simple. We will give our views and welcome a response. If you have a good idea, let us know about it.

Is it sufficient to canvass support primarily just as a “pragmatic” party between Right & Left and rely on votes mainly from some sectional interests, without a clear vision and all-inclusive appeal for what NZ First stands for?
And not to capitalise on the inspirational potential of Centrism, not just as a hazy “middle ground” idea, but as clearly and measurably defining the the centre on the traditional, ownership patterns based political spectrum between communism and royalty based feudalism, through AT LEAST A MINIMALLY MEANININGFUL LEVEL OF PERSONAL WEALTH OWNERSHIP BY ALL CITIZENS EVENTUALLY.
For this, now is the time to raise our long standing policy of allocating the NZ Super Fund to Personal Accounts to a priority position equal to say, law & order, education, the NZ Fund…- because it will help sustainability of practically any economics based policy from its first year of introduction, as will be revealed when questioned and debated.
It will also answer the question - what does NZ First stand for? - very briefly and clearly - Ownership Democracy. - Jens.

Perplexed about the seemingly luke- warm enthusiasm within NZ First on allocating the NZ Super Fund to PAs (Personal Accounts), I would like to draw attention to the following:
A lot of opposition to the unnecessarily complicated super savings scheme of 1997 was stirred up by the belief, that it would lead to the demise of our widely supported taxation based equal super to all, and somehow deliver more for the wealthy.
Are we aware how easy it is to show, that NZSF Personal Accounts will actually strengthen the sustainability of our taxes based equal NZ Super to all in an egalitarian way with visibly improved fairness, and totally removed motivation to have it means tested or even replaced by say KiwiSavings?
And which party will be able to argue, that the increasingly (though never totally)long term savings based financing of our NZ Super will not be an influential factor towards a higher savings culture in NZ, of accelerated more widespread wealth creation, ownership, and economic growth - visible from the 1st year of NZSF Personal Account allocation?
If that cannot shown to be wrong, how can it fail to inspire public enthusiasm for a better future for all, in such a simple way?

    Your blog is interesting!

    Keep up the good work!

It seems to me that Mr Glenn gave money to NZ First and the Labour party to buy something and my guess is he tried to buy a Diplomatic Passport. Thank goodness for ministers like Winston Peters who can not be corrupted like this.

Savings is a fantastic concept for the NZ public to adopt, with all its accrued benefits. Unfortunately, in the present climate, it is not so readily excepted and while NZFirst appears to give the idea its’ tacit approval, NZFirst needs to focus on policies that are readily exceptable to the present voters, policies that are of immediate value. The long term, more contentious policies may then be introduced and implemented once we have our “feet under the table”. It should be pointed out, the present climate is one of immediatacy, with very little thought of tomorrow and NZFirst needs to take this into account formulating its policies.
I wish our policy makers the best in these trying times and the coming election.

I hope all is well. I’m out trying to find some other people with some of the same interests I have.

    Hope all stays well.
