…the SFO letter…

Here is a copy of the letter we received from an anonymous staff member of the SFO (7 days before they launched their investigation). We thought you might like to see this with your own eyes!

Is` that it? The letter that everyone was going ga-ga over late last week? Honestly, it reads like a total crock. It is highly unprofessional. So who wrote it? Do you have any idea which staff member? How many staff members do they have?

It is clear the submission to the Privileges Committee by the SFO in advance of the findings of both its own investigations and that of the Committee is reprehensible. The SFO intervention (uninvited) appears to have been designed to place the minor parties on the committee in an invidious position and tempting them to vote on party lines rather than applying the principles of natural justice. The Greens and the Maori Party in particular need to explain to their supporters why they put their political ambitions ahead of a fair and equitable outcome. No court of law would have come to this decision as the matter was inconclusive. It is a shame that NZ First is not contesting the Maori vote in Waiariki as Te Ururoa Flavell’s hold on that seat is now tenuous.

    hello?

not interested in hearty debate with someone who does not like your manner?

correct me if i’m wrong but i have thrown no abuse your way.

PS - there doesn’t seem to be a flap on the back of the envelope ? Perhaps it needs to be scanned again so that the flap is clearer to see.

It seems like a considered and rational appeal to an elected representative. The fact that you’ve published it here makes me wonder if you are diligently working in the interest of New Zealand?

When can we expect blog posts about dangerous asian migrants? That’s the number one issue fgor me.

  7. Brian Andrews Says:

I agree with Tim M. In fact the letter is quite similar to one I wrote to an MP whilst I was a Public Servant. I don’t think there is a conspiracy here.

re: tonight’s interview on TV3. John Campbell is a lightweight. He’s was just dredging up the same gossip that’s been covered over the last month by the media and the priv committee. I can’t believe that people like that are allowed to interview. As I’ve said before I don’t care if journo’s ask serious questions - but this isn’t what that was. This is appalling.

What’s up with NZ First, forcing themselves on the Maori Party? Do you really need their support?

In the statement from your lawyer, Labour have a coalition with you that they have as partners if you like to abide by. Is it because Helen’s numbers are decreasing in the polls? But in quoting one of the recent posts on the amount of polls we have “Do people take the time to give honest answers?”. I do, but do you. Let’s be honest here.

I hope the dirt diggers are proven wrong when the people vote Winston back in, I have no time for crappy scandals, I want policy.
