..our campaign started with some songs..
We kicked off New Zealand First’s election campaign in Auckland this afternoon - after being entertained by John Rowles and Brett Wallace. There was standing room only at the Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre in Mt Wellington. Read the speech for yourselves http://www.nzfirst.org.nz/content/display_item.php?t=1&i=2860

Looking forward to the announcement of candidates/List members. The Maori Party is dominated by extremist left wingers - most notably the Waiariki electorate supporting Flavell - the campaign staff are dominated by members of the Socialist workers Party and the Global Peace and Justice Movement (A Communist front). We do not need a National-Socialist coalition government ! - they say that if we don’t learn from the mistakes of the past - we are doomed to repeat them.

The opening campaign speech was good lot’s of common sense and lot’s we have heard before. When though do we get down to the earth shattering policies with forethought and vision, policies that will capture a nation. National say they will put the worst offenders away for life and it will cost upwards of $300 million. We can “out tough” them but we need some intestinal fortitude and some stout rope and can save the country all that money. Then again that might upset someone. I have sent in my donation now for God’s sake declare it we do not need to go through all that palaver again. We can do damage in this election we just need a bit more ammunition.
